As a Tradie myself.
I was always looking for a solution to this problem, be it with flushing, rendering, plastering or tiling. Having a single tool that you could use for getting all the product out of the bucket from top to bottom successfully was non-existent and has always been an issue. More often than not, this resulted in the product going hard on the sides and bottom of the bucket which not only wastes compound and money but rendering the bucket useless and inevitably ending up in an ever-increasing landfill. This is something I wanted to help overcome. .
